Follow-up to exchanging your iPod Touch for a new one.

This is a follow up from yesterday’s post.
User ultramookie from ilounge had this advice that worked well for him as well:

Here’s a two step for an exchange:

1) Skip going back to the Apple Store because you’ll spend a lot of time arguing with the idiot at the genius bar and his boss — and then walk away wasting all that time with your old Touch.

2) Call the Apple support line and ask for an exchange.

I think in the end it is safe to approach this from both ways if you, like myself, are one of those who got stuck with the bad screen. Just remember if you’re going into the store to have proof that your screen is not working properly (dark pictures and videos that really demonstrate the poor quality of your screen).
