This is a follow-up to the update I posted before. Now that I’ve gotten the chance to take a photo of the Jay-Z album cover I figured I would share it with you, but first I’m going to show the comparison between the iPhone and the iPod Touch one more time that I had on this post.

Once again this photos were taken with a digital camera. The iPod Touch DOES NOT have a built in camera. The one on the right is a week 37 iPod Touch.
This is a week 38 iPod Touch.
Quite the difference you could say.

Great comparisons. The second iPod touch screen looks as good or not better than the iPhone screen.
For $400 I would hope it should be that way! I’m glad I waited and got one with a 38 serial number and a Macy Gray box.
To all you out there with a 37 model, demand an exchange!

Wow, you can’t see anything on the first one. What a difference a week makes!!!

I only have 2 words to say: I’M AMAZED!
Technically that could also be 3 words

Looks like the week 38 iPods have a screen just like the iPhone. This is good to hear considering they are the same price.
I wonder if the week 37 iPods after today’s update look just as good.

As far as I know right now you would get either week 38 or week 39.
37s were manufactured at a different plant, but all stores now have later week models.
If wouldn’t worry about getting a bad screen now…there have been no complaints with the week 38 screens.

I don’t know if anybod knew this but if you press the power button and the home button at the same time you can take a picture of the screen curently showing on your ipod. i find this feature useful when i find a picture on the web, all i do is enlarge the photo until it fills my screen and take the picture. It save the photo to your saved photos on your ipod.
