Is My iPod Touch a Week 37 or Week 38?

I have been getting a lot of e-mails and searches with one common question: Is my iPod Touch a week 37 or a week 38?
It is very simple to find this out. All you have to do it look on the lower back portion of your iPod. The serial number is also located on your receipt as well as on the back of your iPod Touch box.
A week 37 Touch serial number will look something like this: 9C737xxxx and has the artist Bailey Rae on the front of the box.
The picture above is a week 37 model box.
A week 38 Touch serial number will look something like this: 9C738xxxx and has the artist Macy Gray on the front of the box.
The picture above is a week 38 model box.
I hope this clarifies this question for everyone.

Just an FYI, I i just purchased a Touch. It’s a week 38, but it came in the Corrine Bailey Ray box. So the box might not be a very good indicator anymore.
hmmmm that is odd, I thought they stopped making that box. Is your screen free of the “negative problem”?

i bought a week 38 ipod touch . but i am having some screen issue . The touch screen dosen’t work most of the time , the slider doesen’t slide …. Does any body know what i can do ? can it be the 1.1.1 update ?
hi my screen went negative for an hour or so, so i just switched it off and on again. Also, why in your putting photos on and ipod touch do you have yellow, white and orange and no purple when i have white blue and purple!

it dosn’t matter if is a 37 week ore 38 ore 46…is encripted on every box where , when and whomade them ..and the diffrence between the iTouch that has macy gray and the other is that one has a capacity of 8 GB and the other 16 GB …and stop talking boolshit ..
