If you read my post about installing GBA ROMs using iShare, this is the same exact method for adding NES ROMs. Thanks to frikeronasniker you can get up to 300 NES ROMs on your iPod Touch!

How to install this great app on your touch
1. Download iPhone NES from the installer
2. Download iShare from the installer
(optional) ( for people who haven’t created a rom folder, otherwise proceed to step 10
3. Download Mobile finder
4. Press the ~ icon at the far right corner
5. Click Media, then click create at the bottom of the screen.
6. Click Folder, you should see a folder name ‘untitled folder’
7. Rename it to ‘ROMs’ remember, the R,O and M is capital while the s isn’t
8. Inside the ROMs folder, create another folder call ‘NES’
9. Exit mobilefinder
10. Log in to the account as mentioned above
11. You are ready to go.
12. Remember to upload some games to this account too.
Request games you want here.
I hope all of you will upload your roms there.

if the nes emulator app is already installed do I have to name the folder roms and then nes or does the emulator app automatically do that?

I would put gba Roms but my PC is running slow and I don’t have time to tend to it while the files load. And I have noticed that ROM sendspace accounts seem to close down quite quickly. I hope mine stays alive long enough to be really good. Im counting on you guys to give me a hand. I also dont play the psx emulator my iPod…so I prolly won’t be submitting any myself.

also I will try and transfer the Roms to a new account if that ever happens to my sendspace. I’ll post the new account here if that were to happen. The only problem is that we would have to reload the Roms I dont alredy have. ( the auto correct on my iPod is killing me, please email me on how to turn it off)

Alright im pretty sure everyone has this problem…im learning all of this little by little….its kinda complicated…im not a computer geek but im not an idiot, i read alot of online explanations but people are always leaving loop holes in thier explanations
from what i learned on my own is
1- first you download the appropriate programs
gpsphone or nes program
2- then you download ishare and mobile finder
note – if you cant find these on your install program its cause you need to download community sources version 3.6 which will allow you to get more options on your categories/ packages list
3- once you have mobile finder load it and click on the ~ icon all the way on the top right hand
note – once there you wanna click on the folder with “…” until you get to the screen where there is no “…” folder anymore, the top folder will be the applications folder…so if the top folder is the applications folder GOOD your there
4- NOW what you do is go all the way down to the “var” folder
5- then go to the “mobile” folder
6- if there is no media folder here create one by clicking “create” then “folder” once created rename it by clicking “modify” name it in capital letters “ROMs” just like that small s and everything
7- in this folder you will create a folder for “NES”
8- now you go into ishare, log in go into the download section and select your desired game
9- once selected click the “…” option till you get all the way where applications folder is on top, now all you do is go down to the “var” folder then go into the “mobile” folder, the the “ROMs” folder and finally into the “NES” folder
10- once here just click the download button all the way on top right hand corner of screen “select” button and let it download
11- now that its loaded go into your nes program and you will see it on your list, go into it and enjoy ….. follow these steps for all videogames you download for nes
alot of guides online dont really go into the depth of what you gotta do, im still tryin to figure out how to get gba games in there as i keep getting a prompt on the top of the screen telling me ” sorry but ipSP requires a gameboy advance” followed by ” you have anWincorrect i IOSp image ” i got the idea of how to get gba roms on the list but i dont know how to make em work…can anyone help?

Alex, u must install gba bios first, add the source “http://myinstallerrepo.googlepages.com/contents.xml”
once u refresh sources ull get a new package named chriss stuff or sumthin like that, yea n then install gba_bios.bin

is there any way I can send you a small vid of want I see I dont see a folder called
/var/mobile/Media
in the finder program I only see after hitting the
~ folder called Library and one called Media.
