I’m having the same problem with my Touch.

I installed the FW Changer and made my firmware 1.1.3
When I restarted my iPod it went straight to a black screen with white characters saying the following:

Singleuser boot — fsck not done
Root device is mounted read-only

If you want to make modifications to fil
es:
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw /
If you wish to boot the system:
exit
AppleMRVL868x: Firmware loaded.

Grrrr i restored my jailbroken itouch. It still works fine but the annoying little ziphone icon is still on my main screen!

jailbreaking was successful but now it bogs dwon my ipod touch. why does it hang all the time?
I used ziphone when i was on 1.1.3. now that i upgraded to 1.1.4, its giving me a hard time!

And actually, most ppl who’re jailbreaking their iTouch are interested in the 5 iPhone apps right? But I alr have them when I bought my 8GB iTouch. So, do you think I shld still jailbreak it??
